London, Here We Go: SXSW London, and Why I’m Thrilled to Be Part of It

I’m excited to share that I’ve been officially accepted to attend SXSW London this June as accredited media.

This is a big one.

For the first time ever, the legendary South by Southwest (SXSW) is coming to London. From June 2nd to 7th, the capital will host a massive mix of culture, tech, music, film, gaming, and creative innovation across dozens of venues from Shoreditch to Westminster.

And I cannot wait.

The Screen programme was just announced over the weekend and it is packed. It kicks off with the world premiere of Stan, a documentary co-produced by Eminem that looks at fan culture through his 25-year career.

There’s a big moment for Stephen King fans too with two adaptations screening: The Life Of Chuck starring Tom Hiddleston, and The Institute, based on King’s 2019 sci-fi thriller.

Love and Rage: Munroe Bergdorf will have its world premiere, telling the story of the British model and trans activist. Meanwhile, What It Feels Like For a Girl, a BBC drama based on Paris Lee’s memoir, will have its UK premiere.

We also have Deep Cover, an action comedy set in London starring Bryce Dallas Howard, Orlando Bloom, and Ted Lasso’s Nick Mohammed.

  • Keynote Speakers: This year’s line-up includes actor and activist Idris Elba, actor and philanthropist Gillian Anderson, comedian Katherine Ryan, Google DeepMind CEO Sir Demis Hassabis, and OnlyFans CEO Keily Blair. These are voices genuinely shaping the future across industries.
  • Future of Culture Sessions: Exploring how AI, sustainability, and global storytelling are evolving. London is the right city to have these conversations. Restless, critical, creative.
  • Gaming and Immersive Experiences: This is not just another expo hall. This year’s gaming and immersive content promise real experiences that blend tech, story, and audience agency.
  • Live Music Performances: London’s stages will welcome performances from Alice Glass, Carleen Anderson Presents Melior Opus Griot, Lila Iké, Mabel, Miraa May, Mono, Nao, Priyanka, Saliah, Sasha Keable, Seinna Spiro, and Tems. A truly incredible line-up covering a wide range of styles and voices.
  • Meeting the Community: Because SXSW has always been more than panels and screenings. It is the random conversations. The connections over coffee. The debates that spill out into pubs. The energy of people who make things.

If you’re planning to attend, whether you’re media, talent, agency, creative, tech founder, producer, or anything in between, drop me a message. Would love to meet, connect, and experience the first edition of SXSW London together.

And if you’re curious about the programme, have a scroll through it here: Schedule and Speakers.

Let’s make it a good one.

See you in London.
